Aquasoft Among TOP 10 Czech Companies
The software company Aquasoft has managed to get among Top 10 Czech companies which were appreciated with a prestigious prize in the international competition known as the European Business Awards (EBA). All the ten companies will continue in the next round where they are going to struggle for EBA against their competitors from other European countries.
The European Business Awards is recognised as independent European project running under the auspices of the HSBC bank. The aim is to find and appreciate companies from various sectors which are exceptional due to their approach to doing business.
More than 3,500 companies from all over Europe were registered in this year’s edition (already the fourth one) of EBA. And only 175 companies were selected to the second round. The participants of the final round will be those companies which are among Top 10 in any of the eight categories of the Ruban d´Honneur Award. They will be evaluated by the Jury consisting of dozens of economists, business leaders, academicians, politicians and media publishers from all over Europe. The main evaluation criteria are formed by well-proven innovation approach, business skills and sustainable development of the company.
"We are very pleased that the Jury members evaluated Aquasoft as one of the 10 firms which are to represent the Czech Republic. The European Business Awards project is generally considered as a key benchmark for the most dynamic firms in Europe. We are looking forward to another round of the Ruban d’Honneur competition with other European companies," says Petr Franc, Chief Executive Officer of Aquasoft.
The European Business Awards project searches for and appraises prospective companies which are innovative, commercially exceptional and at the same time involved in social activities, caring for the environment and placing emphasis on human resource policy. The final proclamation of absolute winners of individual categories is scheduled for November 2010 in Paris.
