Aquasoft achieves the best economic results in its history

Aquasoft has registered another successful year - the economic results achieved for 2009 featured record figures for the fourteen-year history of the company.

Aquasoft, a leading domestic supplier of comprehensive software applications, reported positive results for last year. Already the outputs achieved for the first half of 2009 indicated that in spite of the crises the economic figures of the firm will grow. Not only did Aquasoft manage to meet the target set out, but this target was even exceeded.

The company achieved, according to non-audited results, a profit of CZK 14.3 million and in a yearly comparison it has increased its profit by 30 %. Its revenues rose by 23 % to the total value of CZK 254.6 million. Also for this reason it was possible to increase the average wage of its employees, on a yearly basis, by 11% and for example only for annual bonuses the company paid out more than CZK 10 million. "Only a highly motivated team is a guarantee of further development of the company," says Petr Franc, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Aquasoft places a great emphasis on its human resource policy and in the competition "The Best Employers of the Czech Republic" it regularly occupies one of the leading positions. In 2009, Aquasoft was employing on average 112 employees, which represents an increase by 5.6 % in comparison with 2008. The work productivity, which is a key indicator of the company’s performance, grew as well, by 12 %.

"Last year we were undergoing the most profitable period in the history of our company," says Marek Kavan, Financial Director of Aquasoft, in his comments on the situation and adds: "The results are still more interesting due to the fact that the yearly increase in revenues exceeding more than 20% took place already for the third successive year, and this development occurs in spite of the period full of economic turbulences."

Aquasoft has been operating on the market for fifteen years and it maintains its stable position thanks to highly professional services and personal approach to every customer. "We always ask ourselves what we can do better than the others. We are motivated by the high quality of services in all what our clients come into contact with, and we guarantee a high level of services provided to our clients", says Petr Franc.

The aim for this year is, besides maintaining the company’s positions achieved at its current key customers, to achieve further strengthening of its positions in the segments on which Aquasoft has been focusing its efforts on a long-term basis. The company will thus endeavour further efforts aimed at new important projects connected with the information system support of processes in public administration. A priority area continues to be formed by the process of electronisation which takes place in the healthcare sector where Aquasoft’s ambitions are to belong among the absolute domestic top leaders. The company will present in the course of this year, also a fully new system for the companies focused on provision of services by way of projects. Besides the domestic market, appropriate attention will be devoted also to foreign opportunities, especially in the countries of the Balkan region. "Aquasoft is in an excellent condition and it fulfils all presumptions to conclude this year with similar results as the previous years," sums up Petr Franc.
