Aquasoft reports a growth of revenues even at the time of crises

Aquasoft achieved earnings amounting to CZK 130 million in the first half of 2009. The company achieves growths in a majority of key economic indicators and confirms that it is in a good condition.

From the economic results published for the first half of the fiscal year it implies that the company has registered growth in all important economic figures. The profit in comparison with the same period of 2008 has risen by 18 %, earnings by 34 % and the work productivity, which is a key figure of the company performance, has been increased by 8 % in year-to-date terms. Aquasoft has been reporting growths already for thirteen years.

“We are very satisfied with the results, especially if we consider the current situation on the market”, said Petr Franc, Managing Director of the company. “The existing results indicate that we will manage to fulfil the annual plan and to increase annual revenues by 20 % to CZK 250 million in total,” clarified Petr Franc.

Since its establishment, which occurred almost fifteen years ago, the company has been consistently focused on long-term cooperation with its customers. “This strategy provides us with a firm anchorage and stability even at the time of economic turbulence”, added Petr Franc.

Aquasoft currently works on approximately seventy projects, the most interesting of which are represented by The information system for evaluation of security risks of the EU, The integrated agricultural register, The data storage facility of electronic regulations and The economic-operation system for the Institute of public health.

A principal factor for a continuing operation and further development of the company is, according to Petr Franc, the high rate of staff motivation. “It is only a highly motivated team that is able to increase its productivity. The growth of work productivity is important especially at this time when customers expect more functionalities and a higher quality of solutions delivered at the same or even lower budgets.” The high rate of motivation of the Aquasoft staff members is confirmed, among other things, by the repeated success in the competition The best employers of the Czech Republic. After the last year’s position among the top ten firms the company has become the second best employer in the Czech Republic in the category of small and medium-size enterprises this year.
